  1. Global Service Jam in Stockholm 2012-01-26

    Take on service design challenges on the 24-26th of February at the Doberman HQ in Stockholm.

    Every year Global Service Jam takes place all over the world. Spanning across a whole weekend, from the 24th-26th of Feb, students, developers, designers, companies, industry veterans and other service development geeks will come together for 48 hours in creating brand new services inspired by a shared theme.

    We are looking for two Design Directors to join our expanding team.

    In this role you lead the design work in your projects in close collaboration with Account Directors and Project Managers. Together with our fantastic designers, strategist and developers, you will work with all digital touchpoints, with digital strategies and innovative service concepts.

    • Have at least six years of experience in design. A broad background is a big plus but solid digital know-how is required.
    • Be strong at identifying opportunities as well as creating holistic experiences.

  2. Our new friends have arrived 2011-08-29

    Top recruitments from all over the world

    Doberman continues to grow. Our latest reinforcement, Erik Almenberg, joins us from his previous role as Creative Director at Motorola Mobility in Chicago and will help us and our clients create magic products and services in his role as Innovation Director.

    Since we entered the year of the rabbit we've had the pleasure to introduce a whole bunch of new brilliant colleagues at our studio. From the brand consultancy Essen comes the Client Director Maria Lübeck. Peter Hofer was a Design Director at Tieto, Vinh Kha the Creative Director at Perfect Fools and Yours, Robert Lindin was a design freelancer and Peter Olofsson an Art Director at North Kingdom.

    Pär Lindhe joins us all the way from Shanghai where he worked as a Senior Product Manager at the education company EF and Miranda Rudklint was previously a copywriter at Volontaire. Stella Eriksson was a Project Manager at Fröjd and Therese Björkqvist worked as a Project Manager at the IT-consultancy Enferno. And at last but not least, from Hyper Island's education program comes the natural born super talents Robert Lindgren, Designer, Linnea Becker, Project Manager and Erik Lindebratt, Technologist.

    New beautiful mind to our board of directors

    We're proud to present Alice Bah Kuhnke as a new member of our board. Alice is the Director of Sustainability at the international consulting firm ÅF Group and board director at the Royal Dramatic Theatre. As a board director at Doberman she will help us continue to innovate our business, culture and creativity in balance.

  4. Doberman crossing the Baltic Sea! 2011-02-04

    We´re proud to introduce Yota as new client.

    Doberman have been hand picked as digital design agency for internationally renowned russian 4G mobile operator Yota. The primary focus for the assignment will be innovation and the design of future digital services.

    Yota is considered one of most progressive mobile operators in the world, and at Doberman we are very much looking forward to the collaboration.

  5. The Great Journalist Award 2010-11-26

    Valpejl wins Innovator of the Year prize.

    We are proud to announce that the web service 'Valpejl' and its initiators Helena Bengtsson/Kristofer Sjöholm at SVT and Victoria Gaunitz at Sveriges Radio has been awarded the most prestigious journalist award in Sweden - The Great Journalist Award. Valpejl is a web service based on sophisticated database journalism where users, during the Swedish parlament elections 2010, could find unique information about politicians and match there point of views. Doberman helped SVT and SR on design and development of the concept and Valpejl wins in the category Innovator of the Year. Congratulations Helena, Kristofer and Victoria!

    We are more than thrilled to announce that Stina Carlsson Reich is joining us at Doberman as an Account Director and Strategist. Stina is one Swedens most coveted service design strategists, with many years experience as business developer at companies such as Ernst & Young, Razorfish and Cordial. Needless to say, we're all very happy to have you here Stina!

  7. The Doberman office - a true work of art 2010-08-20

    Exhibited at the Swedish Museum of Architecture.

    During the summer, our beloved and amazing office has been one of the 50 projects exhibited at "the 00's" at the Swedish Museum of Architecture. The exhibition sums up the most innovative and novel approaches to architecture during the past 10 years.

    The Doberman office, designed by How + Kawa, has gained worldwide attention and been featured in numerous prestigious architecture magazines, such as japanese Nikkei Architecture, norwegian Nytt Rom and swedish Rum.

  8. "Do the winternet" - co-creating with kids 2010-08-20

    Doberman invited to speak at reputed design conference.

    As the only swedish invitee, Doberman Interaction Designer Tove Blomgren will be one of the speakers at this years Frontend Conference in Oslo. The talk will focus on the process of designing for and with children.

  9. Design S to Doberman and SVT! 2010-06-10

    Once again Doberman gets awarded for the innovation of SVT Play.

    The Design S biennale, which is Sweden's National Design Award, rewards creative and innovative solutions wether the design discipline. The award is considered as the most important design award in Sweden

    The jury statement, that makes us at Doberman incredibly happy, reads: "A role model for Swedish service companies. A pioneering trendsetter that focuses strongly on usefulness and speed. A good example of attractively designed, high class services intended for mass distribution."

  10. Grand Slam for Doberman! 2010-05-18

    Awarded Client´s Best Agency.

    2010 has been good to us at Doberman, and it just seem to continue the way it started. Following the Titan Egg and the award for Digital Agency of the Year, yesterday brought us yet another sign of that our work is widely appreciated. In the annual award The Client's Best Agency, arranged by Resumé magazine, Doberman was awarded with first prize.

    The award is Sweden's largest for client satisfaction, and based on surveys with the clients of the nominated agencies, focusing on capacity, knowledge, business value and organisation.

    The Swedish Design Award has released the list of nominees and guess what, SVT Play is one of them!

    Design S is Sweden’s leading design award. Design S singles out creative and innovative solutions in every imaginable area of products, services and environments, regardless of the design field. The award has been presented every second year since 2006.

  12. Doberman rewarded Titan prize! 2010-04-16

    The awards for SVT Play just keep coming.

    Yesterday night's Guldägget Awards - Sweden's largest Communication Award - gave us yet another great proof for the success of SVT Play. The acclaimed service received the prestigious Titan prize, rewarding innovative communications that inspire people and breaks new ground for how businesses and organizations can act in society.

  13. Health + digital service design = True! 2010-04-16

    Apoteket, Sweden's leading pharmacy retailer, launches groundbreaking health service together with Doberman.

    The service is promoting, encouraging and supporting public health by giving people simple, intuitive and effective tools to inprove their health. From their first contact with the service to guidance in their everyday life.

    Apotekets Hälsokoll combines a scientific test, personal counseling, and a web support for a healthy everyday life. Doberman has designed the service experience throughout all touch points, ranging from the web services to the experience during the actual visit to a pharmacy for a physical test.

  14. Doberman is Digital Agency of the Year! 2010-02-24

    Awarded number one agency in Sweden.

    2009 got a fantastic epilogue when the Agency of the Year Award was awarded yesterday. For eight consecutive years Doberman has been ranked among the top three digital agencies, and now we’re back at the very top.

  15. SVT goes mobile! 2010-02-12

    The success story that is SVT Play now for iPhone!

    Commissioned by, and in close collaboration with, SVT Doberman have developed an iPhone application and a web based mobile version for other handsets, with the goal of re-creating the same high-quality experience for mobile interfaces as the current browser-based application.

    The iPhone application works over 3G as well as Wi-Fi and includes some new features. For example, you'll be able to save your favourite shows and quickly access your local news broadcasts.

    The iPhone application for SVT Play is available for download through Apple’s App Store. The web-based mobile version of SVT Play is available at http://mobil.svt.se/play

  16. Lisa is the Service Innovator of the Year 2010-01-21

    Doberman Managing Director Lisa Lindström has been awarded with the Beautiful Business Award "Service Innovator of the Year".

    The prize is awarded in a national competition to recognize female entrepreneurs and the development of new service concepts or the refinement of services on existing markets. The jury's motivation reads: "For personifying innovative leadership and developing the business of her clients using both her heart and her mind. The keywords are empathy and involvement - in fact, that's the business model. In a cutthroat environment, that's the most important competitive advantage there is."

  17. Doberman to host Music Hack Day 2009-12-08

    After London, Berlin, Amsterdam and Boston the time has come to Stockholm to gather some of the world's most interesting technology startups in the music industry.

    Last.fm, SoundCloud, SongKick, Playdar and the Echo Nest are some of the participants that will gather for a weekend of innovation and creativity. At Doberman, we're very happy to be a part of this, and are very much looking forward to what the weekend will bring.

    The event will take place on the 30-31st of January at Doberman in Stockholm, and will feature an over night hack with both programmers and creatives - all on a mission to build the next generation of music applications.

  18. DN.se and Doberman highly prized 2009-11-18

    The collaboration between Dagens Nyheter and Doberman has been acknowledged through a number of glamourous awards. The latest being Sweden's best news site!

    Since we started our collaboration in 2007 we have completed a number of projects together, from a facelift of DN.se to its big re-design and platform update. That journey has resulted in today’s site. Together we have also made giant strides on the mobile platform, including the award-winning “På stan” iPhone application.

    DN’s goal when choosing Doberman as their agency was to make DN.se one of Sweden’s leading media outlets. Together we have accomplished that ambitious goal, manifested by a number of awards - the latest being the Internetworld award for best news site:

  19. Design Award Grand Slam! 2009-10-28

    Doberman won four gold-medals at the Swedish Design Award (Svenska Designpriset) being the most awarded agency at the awards.

    Winners of the annual Swedish Design Award, arranged by design-magazine Cap&Design, were announced at a ceremony on the 8th October at Moderna Muséet in Stockholm. Doberman designed sites and applications won four gold medals, putting Doberman as the only agency to win more than one medal.
